How should I prepare to apply for admission to a Russian university?
Most educational programs in Russia are taught in Russian, so learning the language is an essential part of preparation. Many Russian universities offer Russian language courses for international students. To be admitted to our University, you will need to provide the proof of your proficiency in the Russian language.
Legalization and Recognition
Your educational documents will need to be legalized before they can be recognized in Russia. The Russian embassy can provide detailed information on this process. Legalization is done in the country where the documents were issued.
A notary in Russia or the Russian embassy must certify translations of documents.
If a foreign citizen represents a country that does not have a bilateral agreement on education with the Russian government, the University of Management "TISBI" will accept educational documents after they have undergone recognition (obsolete: nostrification) process. Visa invitation
After applying for admission to the University, you will need to obtain an invitation from the University in order to enter Russia with the purpose of study (for countries that require a visa).In order to obtain this invitation, you must submit the following documents to TISBI:
A copy of your passport (photo page)
A notarized copy of your passport
Migration registration
Upon your arrival in Russia, as an international student, you will be required to register with the migration authorities at your place of residence.
Each time you enter the country, you will receive a new registration at your place of stay.
The University can assist you with temporary registration if you are staying at TISBI hostel.
Medical insurance
All international students are required to have a health insurance policy valid in Russia.
New procedure for all foreign nationals entering Russia
In accordance with the amendments to the Federal Law “On the legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation” dd. December 29, 2021, the foreign students who have arrived in Russia for a period exceeding 90 (ninety) days, must undergo medical check-up, fingerprint registration, photography within 90 days of arrival in Russia.

Document of education with an attachment (original or copy).
6 photos 3x4 cm (without corner).
Passport (copy).
To the International Relations Department:
The original of the national or foreign passport (the validity period of the passport at the time of the start of training must be at least 6 months)
A copy of the notarized translation of the passport into Russian
The original document on education (with an attachment) issued by a foreign state
A copy of a notarized translation into Russian of a document on education (with an attachment) issued by a foreign state
A document confirming knowledge of the Russian language (certificate, certificate, etc.)
Certificate of recognition of a foreign education (previously: nostrification) and/or legalization of an educational document issued by a foreign state (only in cases provided for by the Federal legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of education)

Original migration card + its copy (if available, in accordance with Federal law)
The original visa + its copy (if available, in accordance with Federal law)
The migration registration form: the original + its copy
Medical insurance policy (VHI – voluntary Health insurance), mandatory conditions: The insurance coverage amount is at least 400,000 rubles; repatriation is included. The student can also provide insurance from their country (no voluntary insurance policy is required for holders of a residence permit)
Medical examination (original + copies thereof)
A copy of the document confirming the passage of mandatory state fingerprint registration and photographing

Classes for applicants with disabilities are held at multimedia auditorum in small groups.
The University is accessible for people with visual, hearing, mild musculoskeletal system and somatic diseases. The individual educational approach based on nosology is provided for all people with disabilities. Students with hearing impairment are accompanied by a sign language interpreter.
