Every year, our university hosts a traditional meeting for first-year students with Elvira Ravilevna Sadykova, Executive Director of the UNESCO Chair.
The event, known as “UNESCO Hour,” has become an important stage in first-year students’ adaptation to university life.
During the meeting, Elvira Ravilevna introduces students to the rich history and key areas of activity of UNESCO, an organization that has been safeguarding peace, education and culture for more than half a century. Special attention is paid to the role of our university in the global network of UNESCO Chairs. Students learn how the university is integrated into the international educational space and what opportunities open up for them through participation in the organization’s projects.
“UNESCO Hour” is not just a lecture, but a dialogue that allows first-year students to understand their involvement in global processes and inspires them to engage actively in academic and social activities.
