The event dedicated to the 70th anniversary since the USSR (Russia) joined UNESCO has come to an end at TISBI.
The international conference provided opportunities for sharing experience in the sphere of Russian and foreign education and youth policy. The event opened up new horizons to ensure inclusive education, implement simulations in the educational process within the Festival of the Best Inclusive Practices.
The meetings of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs in the Russian Federation and the National Coordinating Centre for the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in the Russian Federation were held at the conference. Tatyana Dovgalenko, the Secretary-General of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, gave certificates to the new members of UNESCO Associated Schools.
The participants made presentations, exchange the experience and information and discuss possible collaboration during the roundtable discussion “Inclusive education – we learn better together”. The moderators were Elena Melina, the Head of the Institute for Inclusive Education of the University of Management “TISBI”, Associate Prof. at Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Tamara Fedorova, PhD, Director of College of TISBI, Chairperson of the Commission for Education and Science. There were roundtable discussions, workshops and simulations seminars.
The participants of the event have agreed their general position and pointed out that ecosystem approach in education leads to the changes of the ways of learning, thinking, finding new ways to enhance professional, social and cultural capital, improving professional and special competences.
The conference ended with a closing ceremony, where the resolution was adopted.
