A graduate student of the university became the world champion in taekwondo, and a college student was recognized as the best judge
From July 22 to 27, the United Arab Emirates hosted the GTF Taekwondo World Championships, bringing together 630 of the strongest athletes from 25 countries. The participants competed for the title of the strongest, demonstrating a high level of training, technical skills and fighting spirit.
Roman Bannov, a college student from the "TISBI" Naberezhnye Chelny branch, was recognized as the best judge.
Graduate student German Ishmukhametov became a three–time world champion, winning 2 gold medals, as well as the world champion in the disciplines of "hyeng – 15 exercises" and "stop score –w.c. 82 kg" among men.
Also, under the coaching of German Ishmukhametov, the son of the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Igor Utkin, won 4 gold medals.
