The first day of the academic year at "TISBI" University
On September 1st, "TISBI" University of Management officially opened its doors for the new academic year.
The official opening ceremony dedicated to Knowledge Day brought together students, teaching staff, and guests to mark a vibrant beginning of new achievements.
Welcoming speeches and words of encouragement were delivered by the rector of the University of Management "TISBI" Dmitriy Polyakov, the director of the College "TISBI" Tamara Federova, as well as by the special guests: Elena Arteeva, Senior Business Partner for Team Development at Sberbank, and Olga Tsyplenkova, Deputy Regional Manager at Alfa-Bank. A musical ensemble "Just Brass", theatre-studio "TyuBi" and art groups of the University and College also performed for the students and guests.
After the formal part freshmen headed to the classrooms, there they got to know their groupmates, curators and tutors better.
The meeting with public organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan was also held for the students. The president of the Student league of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Yakupov was one of the honoured guests. The first year students were told about projects implemented in the Republic, how to participate in them and lead their upcoming student life actively.
At the end of the meeting, freshmen got their long-expected student ID cards and were told about the following educational process and class curriculum.
