Meeting with first year students

University's life

More than 600 incoming freshmen - bachelors, masters and specialist degree students - assembeled in the "TISBI" University to participate in the traditional meeting!

Ahead of the new academic year, at the last day of summer, a meeting, that have already become a heart-warming tradition, took place in the University of Management "TISBI".  This year, due to a large number of enrolled students, the event was divided into two parts. Students of Faculties of Management, Economics and IT were gathered first, then students of Human Science and Law Faculties.  As always, the assembly hall was full with fresh faces.

The rector of the "TISBI" University Dmtriy Polyakov adressed the incoming freshmen with the welcome speech.  He told about the educational process, the unlocked opportunities and the ways to spend the following years usefully, how to grow as a professional and as a person and sent them off with best wishes.

Then the word was taken by the First Vice-rector of the "TISBI" University Anna Nayda. She highlighted the opportunities of the campus life: science clubs, inner rules and discipline, special attention was paid to the educational process and the importance of attending classes.  The First Vice-rector mentioned that the "TISBI" University educational model is built on the principle of an equal balance between lectures, seminars, theory and practice.

The common part ended with the speech of Vice-rector on Youth Policy and Educational Activities Evgenia Prokhorova.  She told about the extracurricular activity, numerous creative and volunteer associations, as well as the university's partners. As she said, the "TISBI" University harmoniously combines the atmosphere of art, what helps to unlock hidden talents of each student.

As the official part was finished, to the sound of roaring applause, the freshmen headed to their faculties to meet deans and get to know the campus, which will become their home for the next four years.
