Career Path for the Future Entrepreneurs

Every year, the University of Management “TISBI” hosts Business Forum with the support from The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The Forum is organized by the center of students’ entrepreneurship “TISBUSINESS” - www.tisbi.business. Such forums have become leading platforms for communication with representatives of authorities and business communities.  The event helps students, who wish to develop their own business, to keep track of key economic issues of Russia, emerging markets and the world. Today, the University is a platform where topical and important issues of entrepreneurship are discussed.

The entrepreneurship at the University of Management “TISBI” is not a type of activity but a way of thinking. To become an entrepreneurial university is a goal which is included in our development strategy. The main focus of the Forum was on development of necessary professional competencies of students in different specialties in order to create professional career in business.

The experts of panel discussion “Youth Entrepreneurship: A Way to Success” were:

— Timur Gumerov, head of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Center of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan,
— Irina Kalinina, PhD of Management and Business Chait at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, expert for National Accreditation Council for Business and Management Education, expert for international accreditation of educational programmes,
— Lyalya Bikchentaeva, chairperson of Public Organization “Kazan Center “Youth Achivements”, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan,  member of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency,
— Rafik Shaykhutdinov, president of Small and Medium Business Association of the Republic of Tatarstan,
— Mikhail Filatov, owner of freight forwarding company "ARDEN",
—Marat Khamidullov, head of "Irte Coffee", Internet Agency "KM Digital".

The epidemiological situation in the country has affected the organization of the Forum. The event was held with safety regulations. Students from other universities have joint the Forum by video conference.

The speakers touched upon the questions of business creation, its prospects, and competencies development which are necessary for successful business and career.

Anna Naida, a moderator, concluded the panel discussion by introducing the Interuniversity educational platform for competencies development in the sphere of business for students and schoolchildren - Center of students’ entrepreneurship “TISBUSINESS”.

There were more than 300 participants of the Forum from Kazan, Moscow, Chistopol, Naberezhnye Chelny.
