UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Science

The University of Management “TISBI” participated in the official ceremony which took place in the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Science, named after Dmitri Mendeleev, a Russian chemist who invented the periodic table of chemical elements, was established under initiative of the Russian Federation in 2019. The aim of this project was to promote scientific progress, popularize science, and develop international collaboration.

Dmitri Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister, Lidia Arthur Brito, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, Natalia Larionova, ASPnet Executive Director in the Russian Federation, Elvira Sadykova, Executive Director of the UNESCO Chair, took part in the award ceremony.

Gennady Krasnikov, President of the Russian Academy of Science, congratulated the laureates. He also informed that they managed to agree with the members of UNESCO delegation on cooperation to support young scientists.
