The University of Management “TISBI” Has Become a Party to the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Project

In November 2021, the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Center launched a UNEVOC Network Coaction Initiative that aims to support the UNEVOC Centres. The main objective of the Initiative is the development and implementation of joint projects based on topics of shared interests, building upon the expertise that is already available in the UNEVOC Network.

According to the UNEVOC Network Coaction Initiative, the University of Management “TISBI” has been selected as a partner of the project “Future Foresight Institutional Capacity for Post COVID-19 World”. This project is implemented by the UNEVOC Center at the UAE's largest applied higher educational institution - Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT).

The Ceremonial Project Launch event and the Signing Project Terms of Reference between UNEVOC and Project Lead (HCT) took place on the 7^th of February, 2022. The event was held virtually. Representatives of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE acted as the leading organization, among the participants were Heads of the UNEVOC Centers from around the globe, partners of this project. Several other international partners involved in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) were among the audience.

The event was attended by Nella Pruss, the President of the University of Management “TISBI”, the UNESCO ASPnet National Coordinator in the Russian Federation, the Member of the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO, the Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs in the Russian Federation, the Head of the UNEVOC Centre; Elena Aleksandrova, PhD, the Director of the Institute of International and Regional Projects in Education of the University of Management TISBI”, the Executive Director of the UNEVOC Centre of the University of Management “TISBI”.

Within the framework of the Ceremonial event, the Heads of the partner organizations provided video messages to colleagues across the world. The Ceremonial Signing Project Terms of Reference between UNEVOC and Project Lead (HCT) took place.
