The University of Management “TISBI” Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary
The International research and practice conference was holding the celebration of the anniversary of TISBI and UNESCO/UNITWIN Chairs Programme.
There were 350 participants from 26 regions of Russia and 11 countries including the Czech Republic, South Africa and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Transformation of learning environment for a sustainable future Conference focused on exchange of experience in the sphere of education in Russia and abroad and joining of efforts to provide quality education under global economy transformation conditions.
The conference was chaired by Grigory Ordzhonikidze, Secretary-General of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Co-chairpersons were Nella Pruss, Head of the International UNESCO Chair, National Coordinator of the UNESCO ASPnet in the Russian Federation, President of the University of Management “TISBI” and Ilsur Khadiullin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
We have grown stronger and more serious every year. We have got a lot of victories. Having passed a difficult way, our university still has the ability to develop creatively and be open to everything new. Our Student lead a very busy life. We have a strong, collaborative team. Grigory Ordzhonikidze delivered greetings from Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia.
Over the years the University, under your leadership, has made great strides of progress. It has become a platform for UNESCO projects. Oleg Smolin, State Duma Deputy, and Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, expressed their gratitude for the great contribution to the development of education and employment in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic, sent Letter of Acknowledgement wishing further success and prosperity.
On behalf of Mintimer Shaymiev, the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Zulfiya Sumgatullina, Executive director of “Vozrozhdenie”, expressed sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the University.
Nella Pruss was the first who caught the spirit of time and was able to create non-state university of management in a short time. Ilsur Khadiullin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented certificate of appreciation of the Ministry of Education and Science for significant contribution to education and hard work.
Plenary reports were made by Inga Nishanyan, Coordinator of UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, Dmitry Polyakov, Rector of the University of Management "TISBI" and Tamara Fedorova, Director of College of TISBI.
The plenary meeting was attended by honoured guests: Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Khidiyatullin, Deputy Minister of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications, Virginia Simmons, Professor of Heritage International School, and others.
