St. Petersburg International Educational Forum

The conference on digital transformation of education – realities of today was held on the initiative of the Committee on Information Technologies and Digital Economy (St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry) under the auspices of UNESCO.

Nella Puss, PhD, the President of the University of Management “TISBI”, the Member of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the National Coordinator of the UNESCO ASPnet in the Russian Federation, the Head of the International UNESCO Chair, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs in Russia, the Head of the UNEVOC Center welcomed the participants of the forum.

Elena Aleksandrova, the Director of the Institute of International and Regional Projects in Education, Deputy Head of the UNEVOC Center at the University of Management “TISBI”, also participated in the forum and made presentation on digitalization of the school: reality and prospects.

The conference focused on digital transformation of education, problems of digitalization of schools, prospect directions of implementation of digital tools in educational organizations.

The event was attended by software companies of digital products. There was presented their experience at the conference. The participants paid special attention to the information technologies presented by the St.-Petersburg company “SVEGA-Computer”.
