The webinars addressed issues concerning the Technical and Vocational Education and Training
The webinars were devoted to the UNESCO-UNEVOC Medium-Term Strategy for 2021-2023 (MTS-III). The participants included representatives of UNESCO-UNEVOC, the UNEVOC Centre coordinators and other stakeholders working on MTS-III.
Ms. Soo-Hyang Choi, the Director of the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and experts of UNESCO-UNEVOC presented the UNESCO-UNEVOC Medium-Term Strategy for 2021-2023, its programme areas and opportunities. Thanks to the format of the event- a webinar – the participants were able to get answers online.
The webinar series covered the most prominent themes. Among them were the future of TVET, TVET for climate action, engagement opportunities in 2021, the social challenges related to digital learning and ways to mitigate these challenges, the teachers’ and students’ support needs that have emerged following the COVID-19 disruption and others.
