Development of Higher Inclusive Education at the Republic of Tatarstan

The event took place on ZOOM platform. Teachers, tutors, psychologists and volunteers who support persons with disabilities participated in it.  The theme of the event was related to the education of students with disabilities in the system of higher inclusive education.

The participants of the conference discussed the forms and technologies of education process of disabled students.  Elena Melina, the Head of the Resource Center for Education of Disabled People in Volga Federal District, shared the experience concerning the organization of inclusive education at the University of Management “TISBI” and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The epidemiological situation in the country has affected the educational process. That’s why the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education concerning education of students with disabilities and prevention of COVID-19, were discussed during round table. On the basis of the results of the discussion, ready –to-use solutions for students with disabilities were presented.
