The UNESCO activities were presented to the 1st and 2nd year students of TISBI of “Social and Cultural Service and Tourism” Department.
Natalia Larionova, the UNESCO ASPnet Executive Director in the Russian Federation, and Elvira Sadykova, the Executive Director of the UNESCO Chair, addressed the gathering.
The students learned about the history of UNESCO, its main activities, projects and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).They got to know TISBI activities – is the only University in the world where three UNESCO projects are presented. The students were told about the possibilities to participate in educational and social projects. It was outlined that they have great potential that needs to be realized.
