Research in TISBI
Farid F.Hamidullin, Doctor of Economics, Vice Rector for Research
TISBI closely cooperates with a number of state and non-state
entities conducting research in various fields. Among them are the Russian Academy
of Sciences, Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, Tatarstan Institute of Social, Economic
and Law sciences, Tatarstan Research and Methodical Center for Professional
Education, Kazan State University and many other institutions and centers in
Russia and Tatarstan.
According to the Academy's comprehensive plan for research,
we conduct research in basic and applied sciences in 52 fields. All our work
is conducted with consideration of regional requirements and is aimed at serving
needs in personnel, management, financial and legal skilled workers, as well
as software development, ecologists and specialists in energy-saving technologies.
The research goals are also developed in line with the Academy's
strategic development plan. They include:
- Developing research into a basis of basic education and foundation of training
a modern specialist;
- combining basic and applied sciences with competitive commercial projects;
- giving priority to research in the field of education (aimed at enhancing
educational system);
- wide usage of new educational and information technologies;
- upgrading research base of educational process;
- skills improvement and upgrading of teaching and research staff;
- further upgrading the system of planning and financing research and innovational
activity;
- creating supportive conditions for innovational activities;
- creating conditions for training and retraining specialists in innovational
and research entrepreneurship to facilitate commercial approach to innovations.
Major direction of basic and applied research in the TISBI
Academy of Management for years 2006-2010 is "Reformation of economic,
political, research and social spheres in conditions of transformation".
In the framework of this direction, TISBI conducts the following
basic research:
- Business and conditions of its development (Economics faculty);
- Organizational and legal provision of economic and legal reforms in Tatarstan
and Russia
- Social, cultural and psychological factors in business
- Organizational and legal provisions of economic and court reforms in Russia
and Tatarstan (Law faculty)
- Social, cultural and psychological factors in business (Humanities faculty)
- Tax policy in modern society: fiscal law, technology and control (Taxation
faculty)
TISBI Academy welcomes cooperation initiatives and we
