On September 28, 2010 the Second All-Russia Congress
of UNESCO Chairs took place in the Russian Academy of State employment
at the President of the Russian Federation (Moscow), organized by the
Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and Coordinating
Committee of UNESCO Chairs of the Russian Federation.
 Director-General
of UNESCO Irina Bokova, Permanent Representative of the
Russian Federation to UNESCO Eleonora Mitrofanova, Assistant
to the Director-General of UNESCO on education Tsin Tang, Chairman
of the Federation Council's Commission on Cultural Affairs, Deputy Chairman
of the Commission Alexander Dzasokhov, Director of the UNESCO
Office in Moscow Dendev Badarch, Secretaries of Commissions for UNESCO
in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Latvia, Moldova, heads of the Russian
Committees for UNESCO international programs and Heads of the UNESCO Chairs
at Russian higher educational institutions took part in the congress.
Head of the International UNESCO Chair, Rector of
the Academy of Management "TISBI" Prof. Nella Pruss and
Executive Director of the International UNESCO Chair Liliya
Miftakhutdinova also participated in the congress.
Initiatives and active work of "TISBI" International
UNESCO Chair has been especially distinguished and highly estimated. Its
head Nella Pruss for her essential contribution to realization of the
UNESCO Program UNITWIN / UNESCO Chairs again has been elected as a member
of Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs of the Russian Federation.
