"ТISBI" REPRESENTATIVES VISIT UNIVERSITIES
IN TURKEY

On January 13 - 19, 2010 the delegation from the Academy
of Management "ТISBI" head by its rector Nella Pruss visited
universities and cultural centers in Ankara and Istanbul.
 Representatives
of the Academy of Management "TISBI" began their acquaintance to Turkish
universities with visit to the Gazi University in Ankara. Rector of "TISBI"
Academy professor Nella Pruss has recently received the invitation from the
rector of the Gazi University - Prof. Dr. Riza Ayhan.This visit is aimed at
the development of partnership between the Academy of Management "TISBI"
and Gazi University, started in October 2009, when the first negotiations with
the Gazi representatives took place.
The University administration rendered a very warm reception
to the guests from our Academy. Within this visit were held meetings and negotiations
with the University's top-management, deans of the faculties and heads of the
educational centers functioning at the University.
During the meetings there were decided to enter into joint work in different
directions. As the result the Cooperation Agreement between our institutions
has been worked out and signed.
One of the first projects within the framework of the Agreement
is the organization of summer schools and language courses for "TISBI"
students in the University's "TOMER" Center of foreign languages where
students from different countries learn Turkish. The rector of the Academy of
Management "TISBI" Nella Pruss met with "TOMER" students
and asked them about their studies at the Center.
Within the framework of the visit to Ankara "TISBI"
representatives met with the General director of the "TURKSOY" international
organization of Turkish culture - Mr Duisen Kaseinov, who has kindly told about
their activity in developing mutual cooperation with the international, regional
and national organizations, public structures and movements in the sphere of
culture, art and education. Mrs. Pruss and Mr. Kaseinov discussed potentialities
of working on joint projects, cultural actions and events.
 The
Maltepe University in Istanbul is another educational institution in Turkey
where "TISBI" delegation was warmly received as well. And now our
Academy established partnership with it.
 After the
tour about the university campus "TISBI" representatives were received
by the rector of the Maltepe University - Prof. Dr. Kemal Koymen.
In negotiations different forms of future joint activity were discussed. The
contracting parties expressed their mutual interest to exchange programs and
trainings for students, young specialists and the faculty. Special attention
was paid to Dual Diploma programs. All the issues were reflected in the Protocol
on Cooperation in the field of academic and scientific work, signed by the rectors
of partner sides on results of the meeting.
