Nella Pruss meets with International Coordinator of the
UNESCO Associated Schools
On December 15, 2010 in UNESCO headquarter in Paris
Nella Pruss, Chairholder of the International UNESCO Chair at the Academy
of Management "TISBI", and Liliya Miftakhutdinova, Executive
Director of the UNESCO Chair, met with Livia Saldary, International Coordinator
of Project "UNESCO Associated Schools".
Since 2003 the International UNESCO Chair at the Academy
of Management "TISBI" has functioned as the Regional Coordinator
of "UNESCO Associated schools" in the "Volga" region.

In November, 2010 in Kazan on the basis of the Academy
of Management "TISBI" was held the International
Forum on the "UNESCO Associated Schools" Project (АSP) of the
CIS countries and the Baltic States, and Nella Pruss was charged
the National Coordinator of the UNESCO Associated schools in the Russian
Federation. The statement about the appointment was signed by Sergey
Lavrov, Chairman of the Commission for UNESCO of the Russian Federation,
Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and was presented
by Grigory Ordzhonikidze Executive Secretary of the Commission
for UNESCO of the Russian Federation.

Livia Saldari, International Coordinator of the
"UNESCO Associated Schools" Project, congratulated Nella
Pruss on her new appointment and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation
in future. She noticed that the Project is very successful in Russia as
all Russian schools associated in the project work in a very active and
productive way. Quantity of associated schools increases every year. The
Russian Federation is in the leading positions in the world.

In turn Nella Pruss told about the basic results of the
work at the International Forum and its decisions, and also shared her
ideas on development of the project in accordance with UNESCO priorities.
During the meeting the joint plan of the Activity on preparation of the
Project Program for 2012-2013.
