Round-table discussion on the World Day against Corruption

On December 9, 2010 in the Academy of Management "TISBI" a round-table discussion, devoted to the basic aspects against corruption in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The action was organized within the framework of the International Day against corruption. In the discussion there took part employees of the Department of the Federal Bureau of Security of the Russian Federation on the Republic of Tatarstan, Offices of Public Prosecutor of RT, Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee at the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation on Tatarstan, Department on Realization of the anticorruption policy of the RT, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RT.
The round table was aimed at discussion of the work and efforts taken on the prevention of corruption in higher educational institutions.

The welcoming speeches to the audience were made by the Rector of the Academy Nella Pruss, Vice-rector for Correspondent Learning, Member of the Tatarstan Public Chamber Sergey Druzhkov, First Deputy Head of the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee at the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation on Tatarstan V.Karuzin, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan R.Gilmanov, Adviser at the Department on Realization of the anticorruption policy at the Administration of the Tatarstan President A.Batyrshin.

Students of "TISBI" Law Faculty presented their reports on urgent problems. The round table aroused great interest not only in students and teachers of the Academy, but also in employees of the above-stated establishments due to close connection of the theory and practice in public activity against corruption discussed.
