TISBI student defends his work through videoconferencing
On May 14, 2009 for the first time in the TISBI Academy of
Management, and possibly for the first time in Russia, a distantly learning
handicapped student Vyacheslav Egorov from Tula region defended his graduation
paper on Law.

Vyacheslav entered our institution in 2002. After the first year
of study he referred to the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev with a
request to financially support his study in the only institution in Russia that
provides higher education for people with disorder of musculoskeletal system.
All these years Vyacheslav conducted active correspondence with his academic
advisor and teachers, timely sent his papers and showed good results on tests
and course work. His graduation paper titled “Challenges of Self Determination
of a Nation and Principles of Territorial Integrity of a State” was a final
proof of his high quality work.
Members of the academic committee in his home town and the State Examinational
Committee of TISBI communicated in a live videoconferencing mode.
The paper was marked as “excellent” and the student was encouraged to continue
his postgraduate education.
