Between April 26 and May 2 TISBI was hosting a team of Dutch
experts who work on promoting and preserving cultural heritage. TISBI and our
Dutch colleagues work together on the joint project Promoting Conscious
Attitude towards the Need for Maintenance of Cultural, Historical and Natural
Heritage and Creation of Necessary Conditions for its Preservation as a Part
of Social Reform in Tatarstan and Russia.
The team comprised representatives of the World Leisure and
Tourism International Centre of Excellence (WICE-SL) and Wageningen University
and Research Center (The Netherlands). During their visit they had meetings
with Zilya R. Valeyeva, Vice Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Minister of Culture,
Head of the UNESCO Committee for Russia and Ludmila N. Andreyeva, Deputy Mayor
of Kazan, Deputy Chairperson of the City Duma of Kazan.
