Gazi University representatives visit TISBI

On October 3, 2009 the Academy of Management "ТISBI" received visitors from the Turkish University Gazi (Ankara, Republic of Turkey).

Representatives from Gazi University visited our Academy with the purpose to expand scientific and educational potentialities of our educational institutions, to establish cooperation between us and to arrange exchange programs for students and teaching staff.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Fyrat Purtash - Assistant to the Executive Officer of "ТURKSOY" international organization. Its activity is aimed at development of mutual cooperation with the international, regional and national organizations, public structures and movements in the sphere of culture, art and education. Among the visitors there also was the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Nihat Gul and the Head of Department at "ТURKSOY" Ozkan Omer.

Rector of the Academy of Management "ТISBI" Professor Nella M. Pruss received the guests. They presented Gazi University, told about its history, educational programs for students and also designated potential directions for cooperation between our educational institutions to increase academical mobility of students and the faculty.

Both sides showed their interest to cooperation and discussed a number of offers for joint scientific research work and educational projects. Other representatives of ТISBI administration also took part in the discussion: Vice Rector for Research Nailya G. Bagautdinova, Vice Rector for International Cooperation Liliya T. Miftakhutdinova, Assistant to Rector on Public Relations Olga A. Arhipova.

Visitors from Gazi University had a small excursion about the Academy and knew about TISBI facilities, its international projects and federal programs, innovational methods of management, advanced techniques of teaching and other advantages of our Academy.

This meeting became the first, but not the last in sphere of cooperation between our institutions. The counterparts made a decision to enter into the Agreement on cooperation. On the meeting results the draft of the agreement was developed and is to be finished subsequently.
