PRESENTATION OF GREAT BRITAIN UNIVERSITIES

within the framework of the Grants Program of the Republic of Tatarstan Government

On October 1, 2009 the presentation of the Great Britain universities took place in Academy of Management "ТISBI" within the framework of realization of the grants program of the Republic of Tatarstan Government for 2010.

The presentation was held by the Department of Coordination and Support of Domestic And International Youth Educational Programs and Projects at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Association of the Great Britain Universities and the Center of international education "Маgаrif Plus".

The program is intended for students of 4 and 5 years and the post-graduate students specializing in various areas, representing priority directions for the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the program to the applicants - potential participants there is given the opportunity to study and to practise in leading scientific and educational centers of the Great Britain in 2010 / 2011 academic year.

The employees of the above-mentioned department from the Ministry of Education and Sciences informed the students of our Academy about the procedure of competitive selection in the program, about the stages and requirements, the order of registration and the documents necessary to apply for the program.

Charlotte Taylor - Head of the international department and the curator of foreign students at the University of Exeter (Assistant Director, the University of Exeter) presented the Exeter University, one of the leading modern educational centers in the Great Britain, which is ready to accept students from Tatarstan for studies and training the next academic year.

Guzel Gafiyatullina represented the Center of International Education "Мagarif Plus" and told in detail about one of the most important stages of the competition - TOEFL and IELTS examinations which are necessary to pass within the framework of the selection procedure. "Мagarif Plus" Center takes the examinations in these formats, prepares students for them and also gives consultations on them.
