Summer holidays for students and schoolchildren with health impairments

The Academy of Management "TISBI" continued working on the organization of summer holidays for handicapped people at support of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republican Center "Leto" (Summer) on providing invigoration, rest and employment for children and teenagers.

This year 42 auditory handicapped children and students from the Academy of Management "ТISBI", the Kazan College of Medicine and the boarding school № 6children spent holidays in a historical place of our Republic - the town of Bolgar. Most of deaf and hard of hearing children had a rest in an invigorative camp for the first time.

With the purpose of successful inclusion and further integration of children into society there were held trainings on teaming-up with usage of innovative educational technologies and sport competitions that resulted in children's high activity in sports and leadership.

The special attention was paid to the program of careful attitude to historical heritage, because within special excursions children visited the State History and Archeology Preserve of the ancient Bulgarian State, Spasskoe region's local museum, the remains of the capital of the legendary medieval state Volzhsko-Kamskaya Bulgaria, the ancient Bilyarsk town with its archeological monuments and the Sacred Creek as well. Thanks to the administrations of these museums and their excursions to the ancient places the children touched sacred ruins of the Cathedral Mosque, minarets, mausoleums and ancient tombs of khans, made their wishes at the water place of a sacred Ghabdrakhman.
