Taxation Department

In August, 1999, the Tatar Institute for Promotion of Business concluded the agreement with the Administration of the Taxation Ministry of the RF for the RT on training specialists in taxation for the regional State Taxation Department offices.

On September 17, 2004, the Faculty diplomas were issued to first graduates of "Taxes and Taxation", 351200 (to 16 out of 60 graduates - with honors).

At present 200 students are majoring in "Taxes and Taxation", 351200. The complete period of training is 5 years. Graduates are issued state standard diplomas of higher education and given a qualification of 'a taxation specialist'. Within the specialization "Taxes and Taxation", 351200, students are majoring to be 'tax analysts'.

Graduates of the faculty can be employed in:

• in the system of the Taxation Ministry of the RF;
• in the Tax Offences Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RT;
• in the Finance Ministry of the RF and RT;
• in state departments of the federal, territorial and municipal level;
• in law or economic departments of enterprises and companies of any form of property to fill a position requiring special higher education;
• at customs.

Graduates can fill the positions of:

• tax inspector;
• principal inspector;
• tax consultant;
• leading state tax inspector;
• state tax inspector;
• tax accountant;
• tax auditor - tax planning inspector, specialists.

Specialists can adapt to the following professional activities:

• control and inspection;
• auditing;
• analysis, including forecasting;
• organization and management;
• normative and legal activity;
• scientific and methodical activity;
• in international economy.

The structure of education during 5 years includes obligatory practical work:

• observational practice (1st year)
• cognitive (2nd year)
• special (3d year)
• practical work at an enterprise (4th year)
• pre-diploma practice (5th year).

Beginning from the 4th year, students have specialization subjects:

• Equity market professional members taxation",
• Insuring and taxation",
• Taxation in banking system",
• Taxation Management",
• Special Taxation Regulations",
• Taxation Service work organization",
• State budget",
• Tax Control".

Besides the subjects approved by the state standard and specialization subjects, the lectures in the following disciplines are delivered at the Faculty:

• "ИНН (tax-payer personal number) issuing methods",
• "System of tax return filling out",
• "National security conception",
• "Anticrisis Management",
• "Law-enforcement bodies in taxation sphere".

"Taxes and Taxation" 351200 graduates have the possibility to take postgraduate courses in law, economic and taxation disciplines.

Students club "Urgent problems of taxation in transformational economics" (Director - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Assistant Professor Pantyukhina Svetlana Andreevna) is functioning at the Faculty.
