The concept of the Faculty
The main objective of the Faculty of Economics of the Academy of Management
"TISBI" is to train highly qualified specialists.
Along with having professional skills corresponding to an institutional model
of education adopted by the Academy, graduates are computer literate, physically
and socially healthy, innovative and tolerant.

Duration of studies:
- full-time education - 5 years - on the basis of secondary education; 3 years
- on the basis of higher and secondary professional education;
- extramural and evening form of education - 6 years on the basis of secondary
education.
Due to its innovative orientation the model of economic education at
the Academy of Management "TISBI" is unique.
First, innovation model of economic education at the Academy of Management
"TISBI" is an integrated multilevel education complex including "kindergarten
- school - faculty of secondary professional education - higher education -
post graduate studies - institute for continuous education of adults".
Within this system, education, from its starting point till the end, is organized
according to the principle "from simplicity to complexity" on the
basis of succession and consistency in the training process.
Secondly, continuous economic and legal professional training, computer
training, liberal arts (including languages) - all educational components are
harmoniously implemented at all levels of this educational complex.
Depending on the future job placement (which is determined at the "Jobs
Fair" after 5 different internships), a student not only acquires a profession,
but also receives legal training necessary for it. For this purpose a curriculum
includes a number of law subjects (usually more than six).
Thirdly, the innovation model of economic education at the Academy of
Management "TISBI" implies implementation of new liberal arts educational
techniques.
Students of the Faculty study foreign languages (Russian, Tatar, English, etc.);
they mould non-traditional way of thinking and living, they develop the ability
to combine research and entrepreneurial talents, business and creative way of
behavior, tolerance, and conviction that their economic activity should be based
on high professionalism and norms of professional ethics.
Fourthly, the innovation model is represented by a variety of forms
of its implementation. The main principle is an optimal combination of effective
traditional (reproductive) and innovation (productive) forms of training.
The Faculty of Economics of the Academy of Management "TISBI" has
developed and implemented the following traditions:
- a student, his/her goals, needs, interests and health are of primary importance;
- orientation towards professionalism in the way of thinking and behavior
of students and teaching staff of the Faculty;
- to appreciate one's studying, working and spare time - use every minute,
do not play truant, do not be late; time is precious;
- care about yourself and your environment, have healthy life-style.
An important factor of effective education is the use of traditional and innovation
computer facilities.
Computer training of students of the Faculty is carried out in two stages.
During the first stage (1-3 years of education) students master basic computer
skills, including detailed study of modern office packages, work in a local
network and the Internet, learn fundamentals of programs development, and learn
to use of law data bases.
The second stage (3-5 years of education) implies specialized training. Students
master popular economic analysis packages 1С and BEST. "Delta" business
imitation game is of great demand among students; it allows carrying out virtual
management under market economy conditions. Another even more powerful and elaborate
game introduced into training process is "Corporation +".
An advanced trend in computerization of a training process is its continuous
update. It implies both the use of business computer games ("Delta",
"Corporation +", etc.) in educational process and introduction of
new disciplines like "Economic and mathematical models" and "Game
theory fundamentals" that will help students become proficient in methods
of economic and mathematical modelling.
Preservation of a variety of forms of social partnership at all the levels
is a stable and effective way of maintaining innovation model of education at
the Faculty of Economics.
