Pre-College Education
The Dean
- Mrs. Evelyn Tretiakova.
In order to upgrade the standard of admission requirement, TISBI conducts professional
orientation activities within the frames of the Division of Pre-College Education
(DPCE). DPCE’s activity is based on the concept of continuous education “Pre-school-School-College”.
This concept lays a foundation for the Alternative Education and Training Programme.
It envisages an individualized approach to an education process, early identification
and development of child’s abilities by means of application of new methods
and introduction of new disciplines.
This approach to education aims at bringing up a child and his turning into
a cultural and civilized person. This programme works in Kazan (schools ## 80,
55, as well as a kindergarten #263), Nizhnekamsk and Almetjevsk.
Within the frames of the above mentiened programme, admission to schools (the
tenth and eleventh forms) is competitive and conducted regarding the following:
- School certificate for the ninth form;
- IQ testing;
- Interview.
Upon a completion of a relevant school programme, schoolchildren receive 2
Certificates.
Admission to schools (the first form) is also competitive and is conducted
due to such parameters as follows:
- intellectual, logical and psychological level of development, as well as
a creativity potential (testing and an interview are conducted);
child’s health;
- ability to read and to express ideas clearly.
Since 1994/95 300 students graduated from the DPCE, with 190 students who graduated
with grades” excellent” and “good” and 30 ones graduated with honors. 50% of
our graduates enters TISBI every year.
